Before they are eaten, pinto bean seeds should be soaked in water for several hours and then boiled for at least ten minutes in new fresh water to degrade a toxic compound - the lectin phytohaemagglutinin - found in the bean which would otherwise cause severe gastric upset.

Scooby Doo has one nephew, Scrappy Doo. He has two cousins, Scooby Dee and Scooby Dumb. Dick Clark had more voice overs in the cartoon than any other actor.

The term, "The whole nine yards" came from WWII. Belted ammo shot from a certain airplane, can't remember which, was in nine yard long belts. So, when the pilot said, "Give 'em the whole nine yards", he meant "UNLOAD"!

The word f**k comes from medieval times. It literally means, Fornication Under Consent of King. As a guest in the castle, you had to have permission to have sex in the castle. To not have permission and do so was punishable by death as it was viewed as disrespectful. Once, and if, consent was given, a sash was hung over the door with the word F**K, so the guards would not storm in the room if they heard the commotion!

Lastly, the average man's goober is three times the length of his thumb. Quit checking guys!!
