Enemies of armed self-defense focus on the gun. They ignore the person protected with that gun.

Looks like a primer strike to me.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

Nothing went into the primer. Everything where the primer strike is suppose to be is above it. Some .0005-.006. Primer was not hit.

Between P and C is the extractor mark. Cant even feel it on the face of the cartridge. Slide was in battery upon picking it up.

You are right. I shot another round that night and it is on an empty with a primer strike. It is very very faint and can't be felt running a finger over it. Firing pin pocket looks concentric to me.

Just shot two rds thru the SR1911 Ruger. No faint marks on a CCI or a Wolf cartridge. That wouldn't cause it to discharge. I am at a loss and waiting on Mag Techs response. Where primer strike goes isn't same thickness across it. You would think if it blew outwards it would be consistent. They wanted a lot number for the ammo.
