It is also important to note that the "voters that Obama brings" comprise less than 20% of the country's population, hardly an overwhelming force. Our voices are more than enough to awaken a substantially larger force - just gun owners number at least three times as many folks.

If we stand by and allow those things to happen just exactly as you predict...then we deserve to lose every weapon we have and possess.

We can stop pretending to be 'free'..a condition that 90 % of americans have not the slightest comprehension what it means.

Do you grasp what I am saying ? I am willing to throw the dice. You may well be content to live under the present level of tyranny...or maybe just a little more, under your republican heroes.

    I am not.

I will never pick up a weapon to hasten the demise of America...but I would vote for a Total gun ban...police start picking them up Monday.
I want people FORCED to chose...fight or submit.

The quicker the better. My path beats yours all to hell...for in spite of your assurances, I think that your republicans are aiming at EXACTLY the same target as democrats...but they are smarter. They would drag this thing out another 20-30 years...while the democrats will push faster.
Faster, in this case, is better.

There, bluntly, crudely, and honestly is my platform. You may ridicule, doubt, and accuse me of whatever you wish.

    Changes nothing for me.

One, to misrepresent what I'm saying makes you a liar, or illiterate..What republican heroes are you talking about? I think all politicians are scum. I'm not one of the characters in your head, respond to my ideas please and not to what you wish I said.

Two if you would vote for a total gun ban...I'm stumped...I hope you don't vote. I'm shocked and dismayed.

If the government try's to steal my Guns (I know they won't, but "if") so that me and my wife get murdered resisting then you are an animal. I refuse to believe you really even want this.

    I quote you...
"I want people FORCED to chose...fight or submit."

Well, I don't want mens wives, daughters or sons killed in some battle for YOUR ideals. I want to win this by elections and the courts.

Anarchy does nothing, the founders wanted our legal system to protect our rights. To fight is our last resort, and we don't want to enable (the Left) them so that fighting is unavoidable. Admit you don't really want this... You can't want this

It's a matter of sinking fast, or sinking slow, but regardless, you are sinking and will end up on the bottom of the ocean. If these politicians had the stones to do as Feinstein wanted "turn them all in" ALL gun owners would be FORCED to decide if they're subjects or citizens. Then the veil would truly be lifted for those gun owners who feel their chosen arms are "safe" from the gun-grabbers.

Someone has a quote on their sig line, to paraphrase it says if theres is to be trouble, let it be in my time so my child can know peace. We who value the constitution wish to preserve it, and the freedoms it protects, for our children. But as of now each sucessive generation loses sight of what freedom and a constituional republic truly are and become an advocate for a tyrannical government, all in the name of "the common good". We wish to wake these people up, if possible, to warn them of the growng threat of an end to America as we know it.

Voting (to borrow, yet again) ObamMcCain would have resulted in increased pressures brough to bear on the second amendment, and the constitution as a whole for neither truly respects and defends that document.

I disagree if McCain won we would have gotten another pro-gun judge in the supreme court, perhaps under Palin.

What we want and what will turn out is obvious. To think Obama and McCain are the same is just nonsense. The supreme courts whats the issue. The destroying of the Industry is the issue. If you think both would go the same then I guess its just maddness.

So you prefer sons and daughters killed for the ideals of the Elites..eh ? Iraq, Vietnam, ect..?

Quite obviously, you are not paying the slightest attention...and your knowledge of your own history, while shocking, is nothing new for New Americans..none of which have ever read the Constitution.

The Second Amendment..while it is INDEED my 'ideal"..preceeded me by several hundred years...and was the 'ideal' of the FOUNDERS.

I can quite understand your reluctance to fight for those old dead white guys `ideals'.believe me, the `men here in America are only willing to fight for what their Masters in Washington TELL them to fight for..it STILL is a sad state of being.

quote:Anarchy does nothing, ANARCHY ??? PLEASE show me where in the Constitution you find 'anarchy' ??? We are TALKING about the Constitution, here...and the enormous distance between IT and the present government we toil and suffer under.
quote:the founders wanted our legal system to protect our rights. Yeah..we did. Today we got a Court that says he Second Amendment menas what THEY say it means...and you can just go pound sand.
Whatchagonna do...when you got corrupted Courts, baby ?

quote:To fight is our last resort, and we don't want to enable (the Left) them so that fighting is unavoidable. Admit you don't really want this... You can't want this

Really ? What I want is totally irrelevant in the matter.
Corrupted masses of people continue to elect corrupted leaders that continue to appoint corrupted judges, police chiefs, officials of every stripe.

It is like bailing out the Titanic with a teacup. You work really hard at it, you get a sweat going, you feel really good about yourself...but the great ship continues to slide beneath the waves.
I propose to rebuild the great ship that way it was meant to be..before generations of sly, greedy, power-mad politicians and businessmen of every description poured acid on every rivet in the ship of state..tearing apart the entire fabric of her seams.

To yogsoggy- you hit the nail on the head, but has any one thought about where obama is getting all this money? I'm not a brain surgeon but what do you think it could be, oil money? All it takes in our times to be president is money. How can a person I just can't call him a man
with only 134 days or close to that in politics get elected. All the people that run with him are like a pack of dogs he just gives them a bone now and then. If all the people that have and enjoy guns would have voted we would not be where we are. What about his citizenship has any more been said about that? I know where this is going someone out there will say I'm a racist. Well I'm not I just don't like to be told how to live & think and to have a president that thinks nothing of my freedom or rights.

Of course he is not a citizen. Why would that part of the Constitution matter any more than all of the other parts that the elites who are in charge, ignore regularly, with our consent?

If the Democrat controlled Congress reinstates the ban, Obama will sign it. Americans who live in sportsmen states, those in which hunting is important to constituents, might be able to pressure Democrats to oppose reinstating bans and more gun prohibitions. Most activists I know are pessimistic but it is worth a fight.
