As this news is spreading across our nation, I had to wait in quite a line this morning here in Michigan to gas up. Even without a shortage people act like there is one or there is going to be one!
People somehow think that the pipeline ONLY serves the East coast so that means the mid and west coast will not be affected. That is NOT the case however. The rest may not run out like we are, but the prices will surely go up because they can! This also affects EVERYTHING that has to be trucked or flown FROM the East coast. All goods will go up IF this is not fixed SOON!!
Joey from Scranton has his eyes on it. Yea, don't worry about gas when we have a "woke" movement and BLM to take care of. Mark my words, it's going to get a lot worse in the USA, SOON. I will eat raw possum if I am wrong.
Just a few minutes ago I filled up a Ford P/U at the local Circle K, paid $2.69 cash for regular, charge/debit card cost .10 cents more and no long lines to be seen at any of the stations, seems like a normal day to me. Wish y'all the best. Just a thought, this could be a little payback from Russia due to Hunter Biden with his so-called "expertise" in the oil industry and if so.............. 😡

Good thing my commute involves walking down stairs.
Some will die in hot pursuit
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
This evening at 7 pm we drove Merrimon Avenue in Asheville NC, from downtown to Weaverville. This is the main road on the north side of town. About 8 miles.
14 gas stations, including 3 huge ones at Ingles grocery store, all were out of gas.
In Weaverville, right at I 26 was a little Mom n Pop Shell that was pumping gas! I was astonished. All 8 pumps were getting pumped, about 8 vehicles in line.
Statistics today said that 78 percent of gas stations in Asheville are out of gas. My survey says that 93 percent are out.
These 2 must have a lot of lawns to cut...............right.
I just read that Colonial Pipeline paid off the hackers last week but that the key to unlocking the hack was long and took a while. I also read they paid off in crypto currency.
All part of the plan to push people to electric vehicles. Before the end of the decade some States like California and Washington are banning the sales of new gas cars. I don’t see how they will get away with it when they don’t recharge in less than 30 minutes. I drove from Yakima to Eureka, CA in 1 day. No current EV can do that without a 24 hour charge. But gas in CA was edging up to $5 a gallon. We’re heading to an epic disaster.
It's even hit Commiefornia now. People are topping off & some stations are out of gas. Sam's Club is always terrible but today it was even far worse. I need gas but not bad enough to sit in that line even if it is 50 cents/gal cheaper.
TOO much data to back up, most likely. I'm sure it was operating systems and such too. These hackers also dig up illegal activities, photos, texts, and ANYTHING they can find to blackmail companies.
mike55 There is never "TOO much data to back up" all it takes is money! These corporations just won't spend what it costs to have real-time DR protection which just amazes me since corporations don't really pay for anything, their products they sell to consumers covers all there costs else they go out of business and the fact is they are just too greedy and won't cut into their own profit to protect their assets...
I agree with that. Technically yea, EVERYTHING can be backed up. But yea, they didn't wanna spend that money. But even if it was backed up, some idiot would have incriminating information on their that could be stolen and used as blackmail. Blackmail is probably a big portion of the hackers income.
When I was a LOT younger I worked the wobble pump at my grandparents general store to pump gas into a glass bowl over the pump that had graduations for the amount of gas. One flavor only.
I work part time with a friend who owns a HVAC business............all of the copper that we cut out on the jobs used to just get thrown in the back of the truck or in the trash. .............until I found out that copper is $4.75/lb.............now I collect it all and throw it in a bucket................when I get 50 lbs or so, I will buy a new gun.
How do you think the power to fuel that TESLA is generated? It doesn't come out of Uncle Jo Biden's *..........it;s generated at coal fired power plants.....and as the production line goes, there is a loss of efficiency as it goes down-stream.
I saw the Hummer burned up @cbxjeff and I thought to myself only someone dumb enough to have a Hummer would do that.
As far as the trailer guy is concerned if I saw that I would call the State Patrol. I am not usually a rat but that would bring it out in me. I see the SP pulling over trucks all the time they need to crack down on idiots like that. Not only is that dangerous and far exceding the weight of that trailer but its an environmental nightmare waiting to happen. Imagine if that trailer lost a tire and flipped, all that gas would be on the ground. The clean up cost would be over 1/2 a million dollars.

I wish that your were eating raw opossum soon!!! BUT I'm sure that you will have to eat it fully cooked........just like our GOOSE!

Hoping for a better tomorrow....
Goldsboro NC has about 25% of its stations having gas . Have already seen several videos of fight breaking out at stations due to line cutting etc .
This is why there was a gas problem.
Look at all the gas cans in the back of that car.
These 2 must have a lot of lawns to cut...............right.

I love that little town of Weaverville, whenever we get that way we try to eat at the Glass Onion there.
Went out this morning to the bank south in a small town. Of the 8 stations on the way... All out.
"This is why there was a gas problem."
INCORRECT! Lack of LEADERSHIP is why there IS a gas problem.

How did they pump fuel through pipelines before computers?
Why don't companies back-up their data so they can retrieve it when this happens?

Most stations here are up and running again
I tanked up today! The big Ingles grocery store in Marshall had gas at noon. Not a bad line either.
But, by 2 pm it was all gone! The little Mom n Pop gas station had gas this afternoon, 35 cars in line. Long long wait.
Did I hear that the oil company paid the ransom? If thats the case, look for more of the same.
When I was a LOT younger I worked the wobble pump at my grandparents general store to pump gas into a glass bowl over the pump that had graduations for the amount of gas. One flavor only.
Check out this jackwagon;
Was that in the Model T days?
That little baby trailer will not hold all that fuel. Looks like four 55 gallon drums. I hope he was only going a few hundred yards!
Looked again, looks like FIVE 55 gallon drums. That's a LOT of weight for that small trailer!
Tiny trailer,5-55 gallon drums of gasoline, I.Q. of 13. What could go wrong?
Must of figured unleaded doesn't weigh as much.😁 Bob
I think you need a permit to haul that much gas. And it won't let you haul it like that.
Sam06, Did you see on FOX news tonight the pic & story about the guy that was carrying gas cans in the back of his Hummer? Burnt to the ground. 😲
Knuckle heads also around here, filling trash bags with gasoline. Morons aplenty.
When this country really hits bottom folks will eat each other. Zombie attack is almost here.

GREEN NEW DEAL..........................as planned

Clean up?
Just stand back and throw a match on it. Don't forget to take video . . . from behind the match thrower.
...just paid $2.82 a gallon...gas has gone up a lot this past week...
Just filled up here in Wilmington, N.C. $2.85. My guess is that will be cheap next year.
Station in front of house has 87 octane butno high test .No lines today complete sea change from Monday!
