This evening's tasty dish was a grilled ham steak, baked potato and tossed salad with dinner rolls and apple sauce washed down with a refreshing adult beverage at a diner in a small town in South Dakota. It was served up by a kind young waitress who made wonderful dinner conversation with me but turned down a lunch date for Saturday due to the fact that someone else had already found this beautiful, intelligent pre-law student whose smile placed the perfect finishing touches on a day of Christmas shopping and gun purchasing.

dano-- Krispy Creams? While stationed at Fort Drum, I always wondered why the location of the bakery that made the best Glazed Donuts in town was only known by the MP's.

Let's see:Elk roast with mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, milk, and sweet rolls for desert. The roast was cooked by placing a can of cream of mushroom soup on some foil and an envelope of onion soup mix on top of that. Set the roast on the soups and close the foil around it. Roast for about 3 hours at 350 F. Remove the roast from the foil and put the liqiud in a skillet. bring to a low boil and thicken with flour or potato starch.Enjoy

Breaded and steamed pork chops, sweet peas warmed with french salad dressing, baked potato with sour cream and butter, hot rolls and iced tea with lemon. That will make your tongue try to beat a hole in the roof of your mouth.

Since im part mexican, I made borracho bean stew. It has beans, bacon, onions, jalapenos, and tequila for flavor. And with that I had rolls to dip it in, garlic mashed potatoes with briskit mixed in, and rootbeer to wash it all down. Are you mexican too Lowrider?
