OK, I think I've got it, but 2 questions:1. Where can I find a good smoking jacket in Mossy Oak Breakup?2. I can't seem to get the brandy snifters to stay in my Chevy pickup cupholders. Any advice? Duct tape maybe?

Thunderbird or Ripple? Why are we so quick to overlook the fine grape vintages of MD 20/20? Dangit, we gotta be eloquent? Shucks, I think I'm gonna go * me some yard bird fer lunch.

I just spent the better part of a day reading all these postings and not done yet! "sniff-snif"...I love ya's; may not own a bently or a lear, yet But my yacht the "Elly-Bree" is at the clubs disposal if ever in the great-lake region. The wet bar never dries up as long as the salmon are biting.

In case you can't tell, the writing on the cigar band says "COHIBA". Figure I'll put a torch to it about 8:00. One has to prepare for something this good!

I'll bet all the "dead weight" of this post doesn't help the speed on this board. It might be time to "let it die" so the General Discussion board moves along a little quicker?(Blasphamy on my part; perhaps I've just been excommunicated for the suggestion?)

Maybe not excommunication but pennance instead. Repeat the 10 Commandments of Firearms Safety 3 times forwards and backwards and be administered 100 spankings from a few of the women folk depicted in Gordon Liddy's calendar.

218,You're on, I accept, and as I promised back when, I'll entrust my proxy vote to you, knowing that you will do whats right, when it comes to breakin those tie votes.I hope to be released to return to normal life soon, I've taking some Acad, and Graphics/Omageing classes, to hopefully settle into a more sedintary job. This will limit my ability to spend time on this board, but, what the heck, all good things have to come to end sometime.Just like living.Good luck guys!!

Shane,What is truly amazing is that it has gained an almost cult like following....sort of like the "Rocky Horror Picture Show"....most posts seem to be fueled by controversy and heated exchanges...then end in a poof or simply run out of gas. This has taken on a life of it's own....don't know if there is a record for such things...but it certainly qualifies as a contender....

A contender?"I could have been a contender. I could have been somebody."Say it over and over again with your best Brando accent.

Does a 1970's NERO Jacket classify as a Smoking Jacket?

I think that's Neru, not Nero. Nero jackets date back to about 55 AD.

Nehru.I understand that Nero jackets were flame retardant, but only while playing the fiddle.

Nine pages long! This is more like a convention rather than a smoking club.
